Pillar 1 — Drawing
We start in Shapes University: how to hold and sharpen your pencil like a pro, warm up & draw from your shoulder, and see the world through simple shapes. This is the alphabet everything else is built on.
Pillar 2 — Value
In Value University you'll learn that every single shape has a value and an edge. We squint, we simplify, we "squimplify" and suddenly you'll see what took me 15 years to learn. Value does all the work & color gets all the credit.
Pillar 3 — Color
Welcome to Mixology School where you learn to mix every color in the world intentionally, instead of guessing. You'll learn the 5 categories of color, temperature of color.
Put it into practice
You will have a workbook for each pillar to practice the skills. These skills are intended to sneak up on you so that the drawing / painting paints itself.
